Next weekend, 31st March-1st April, there will be a SLOT event in Krakow :

We expect 600 – 700 people there. There will be 50 workshops, seminars, concerts, movies, exhibitions. The most important thing, as always, is to create a platform for people to meet, exchange and inspire one another.

• This local festival in Krakow is one of the fruits of Slot Art Festival and we treat is as first-fruits of the vision we would like to see in coming years all over Poland – groups of people who love God and are active and involved in shaping the culture and climate of their cities through community-building, events and festivals, all creating “slot spots – local creative centres” .

The team from UK and Poland who are visiting Romania next week will be spending this coming weekend in Sofia, Bulgaria, attending the Board meetings of the P.R.Slaveikov School. The school is really struggling to establish itself on a secure financial footing, and so is welcoming this visit from a business adviser and an accountant, who hope to gain a full picture of the situation and be able to offer sound advice for the way ahead. Please pray that this will be a real encouragement to the Board and to the School Director.

Following the receipt of a grant for the new Community Centre project in the “Bermuda Triangle”  deprived area of Wroclaw, the Centre is now open, albeit with some way to go in terms of kitting out etc. To read all about that, as well as other news from YFC Poland, please click here
